Innocence

Welcome to Wednesday, November 15th which is a 9 in Numerology.

The 9 is about completion, harmony, and meditation. The day of rest where everything you’ve done up to now makes you who you are. If you aren’t accepting of it then it is a time for a change, but first, meditate on it. No drastic, immediate changes. That’s what has gotten you in trouble in the past.

Today’s card is Innocence. What is innocence?

When looking inward innocence is recognizing that although we are flawed we are like children. We are perfect. Deep inside we all just want to be loved, it’s our earthly self that thinks of all of this as bullshit. Our earthly self is the one that masks our hatred for ourselves with earthly possessions, comfort foods, addictions, etc. We keep ourselves busy with our ‘jobs’ (Just Over Broke) so we can buy more shit.

Once you start giving all of that up, at least the ‘need’ for it, that is when doors start opening for you, and they also close old stories that you’ve bought into for so long.

I understand though why people wouldn’t want to truly look at themselves. It’s hard to do. It’s difficult to heal those old wounds that you’ve inflicted on others… and on yourself.

Forgive yourself and then you will be able to forgive others. Baby steps. Don’t beat yourself up anymore. Start treating people like you wish to be treated, but if they don’t reciprocate, it’s ok… let it go. It’s their story, not yours.

The Swan

Welcome to Tuesday, November 14th which is an 8 in Numerology.

The 8 is about personal power, self-confidence, and inner strength. Combined with today’s card, The Swan, it is giving us a hint of who we can become… The Swan.

I’m sure you’ve heard the story of the Ugly Duckling before. The Ugly Duckling hides away, picked on, ridiculed until one day it becomes a beautiful swan. Take that analogy and mirror it unto yourself. The Ugly Duckling is you and your perception of yourself. Once you shed away your fears, bad self-perception, old stories, etc., that is when you become the Swan.

There is a reason that we see more Ugly Ducklings than Swans.

So few shed their feathers and hide in their old stories. The ones where they were abused, mentally, physically and emotionally. The ones where somebody said something to them that ‘made’ them who they are now. You will never become a Swan until you can leave those old stories behind.

Understand that in this paradigm that we live in that there will always be ‘good’ and ‘bad’, ‘happy’ and ‘sad’, etc. We have to accept both of them as equal partners because the Swan knows that you’ll never know true happiness until you’ve experienced true sadness.

So embrace the good times and the bad times. Own them. Experience them. Cry when you need to cry, laugh when you feel like laughing. And don’t give a care about what somebody might say about you. This is your dream, not theirs.

Welcome to Monday, November 13th which is a 7 in Numerology.

The 7 is teaching us not to take anything at face value. Look behind the curtain and see what the Wizard is really up to. Pretend that the Wizard is you. What is going on in there? What is your subconscious really up to?

A lot of us are really caught up in this ‘world’. Why do you think?

Some of us think that we are just meat sacks and that when we die… that’s it. Dead. In the ground. Worm food. Some of us believe in God. Their God. Like Depeche Mode wrote; “Your own personal Jesus. Someone to hear your prayers. Someone who cares.” I try to look at the common denominator (Oh No! Not more math!). What do all of these things have in common?

They believe in something. And more so, they believe in something outside of themselves.

Our Ancestry plays a big part in what we believe in. There’s a story about a little girl who watches her Mother in the kitchen cooking a ham for Thanksgiving. Before cooking it, she cuts the ends off before putting it in the pan. This happens every year and had been happening since they could remember. It was just tradition. Long story short… After further investigation, the little girl found out that her great-grandmother cut off the ends so it would fit in the pan she had.

Don’t take everything at face value just because someone says it is so. Do your own investigating and you might be surprised at what you find.

Sometimes following traditions gets us in predicaments like we are in today. Wars fought over belief systems that are traditional, political affiliations because of tradition, hate crimes because of tradition. Use your own common sense and don’t blindly follow just because you are told to.

Be the Wizard, but also be aware of the man behind the curtain.

What is your name?

Welcome to Sunday, November 12th which is a 33 in Numerology.

Number 33 is a Master Number. 11, is the gateway, you are starting to see through the illusion. 22 is the architect. You start to notice that life is similar to a computer simulation if you are programmed correctly life flows around you. You start realizing that the program (your mind) can alter your reality. And 33, like today, is synchronicity, transformation, no borders! Words and thoughts are powerful and they can alter your thoughts and your life around you.

What do you label yourself? Say your name… do you feel powerful when you say it? Think of some of your favorite movie stars or rock stars, a lot of them change their names to something more powerful, something that sounded better when said. I’m not saying you have to change your name… what I’m saying is that if you feel powerless, everything else around you will be powerless. Look at celebrities with the 33 in their vibration; Robert De Niro, Salma Hayek, Albert Einstein, Francis Ford Coppola, Thomas Edison, Stephen King, or John Lennon even.

33 Magic is about this; What you feel inside is what you will attract externally.

We don’t attract what we want. We attract who we are.

Recently a friend of mine had asked me how to attract the perfect woman for him. I told him that in order to do this he had to be in the same vibration as the one he wanted to attract. Think of it as a radio dial. You’re changing the frequency of the radio to find the radio station that makes you feel good. You keep turning that dial until you finally hear that perfect song. That is when you are on the right vibrational frequency. Same goes for relationships, jobs, etc. Not to beat it into your head, but…

You can not attract what you are not. You can not have what you ‘want’ because saying you ‘want’ something means that you don’t have it. You have to change the wording, change the feeling to ‘already having it’.

Now, today was pretty deep. I know. But after yesterday’s powerful 11/11 and today’s 33 energy this isn’t a time to fuck around. It’s a time to get into alignment.

Welcome to Saturday, November 11th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Number 5 relates to making positive life choices and decisions and learning life lessons through experience. Combine this with the powerful 11/11 day and it’s almost guaranteed that whatever you focus on will indeed come true. Take some time to sit alone and focus on what you really want. Remove the clutter from your mind, sit still and manifest away!

Not only are we having a 5 day on 11/11, it is also a 1 year (2+0+1+7=10 1+0=1)! You honestly cannot get any better of a day to focus on what you want. Again, be vigilant. Hyperfocus on it. Don’t just envision it… feel it. They say that when manifesting if you physically feel it, it sets in motion that vibration. Make yourself a dream board today and set it up in your bedroom. Focus on the images before you go to sleep and imagine that you already have what you are looking for.

I usually spend 11/11 with close friends and in ceremony. And I intend to do just that. We are on the beaches of California right now, feeling the chilly morning air, the humidity, and just enjoying what spirit has to offer.

Embracing the Beauty

Welcome to Friday, November 10th which is a 4 in Numerology.

Four is the number of fate. Many things we have no control over. I believe we make a contract with ourselves before we come down here and we mandate what we are going to accomplish, so no matter what you do in your life you will always end up with the ‘option’ to follow your fate.

I look at the number of times I’ve been hit by cars. Yes, there have been more than a few. After a while, I started recognizing a pattern. It seemed that my stubbornness would not listen to my higher self so the Universe would make me. Lucky Me! It seems rash, but believe me… there are no coincidences. Each and every time this has happened my life has taken a 180.

Today’s card is: Walking in Beauty.

Have you ever heard the phrase, “No matter where you go, there you are.”?

You might think that being in a certain demographic or geographic area will be better for you, that it will make you feel more ‘zen’, but until you embrace that feeling (Zen) inside of yourself, no matter where you go, your mind will still be in that headspace of looking outside of yourself. Basically, it doesn’t matter where you go because your issues will follow you.

So walk in the beauty that is inside of you first. Embrace yourself first and you will start to notice the beauty that surrounds your immediate area. Then it won’t matter where you are because your headspace has changed. And what a beautiful feeling that is!

As a new friend recently said to me, “It’s easy to sit on a yoga mat and meditate on the beach in Santa Monica. Try doing that on the strip in Las Vegas. You’ll quickly realize how Zen you really are.”

Our Pain is Self-Chosen

Welcome to Thursday, November 9th which is a 3 in Numerology.

The 3 signifies; Youthfulness, Bravery, Passion, and Manifestation. Coupled with today’s card, Meadow, it speaks of vulnerability.

A lot of us sacrifice youthfulness, bravery, passion, and manifestation because of not being able to be vulnerable. Getting out of your box is being vulnerable. Taking risks is vulnerable. Loving someone with all of your heart and soul is vulnerable.

Why aren’t we, or why don’t we allow ourselves to be vulnerable?

We don’t allow ourselves to be vulnerable because the first time we were afraid, naked, unfamiliar, alone… we were scared. Every parent says it to their children when they cry, it’s natural for a Mom to tell her son, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here.” And when that parent isn’t there and they are afraid, that is when the wall goes up. Protecting ourselves because we can’t trust anybody else to take care of us now in this big lonely world.

Being vulnerable, as we grow older… it gets instilled into our deepest subconscious, and after a while, we don’t even know why we are the way we are.

So what would it look like to be vulnerable?

To be vulnerable you need to trust. Yes, trust in your own instincts… but make sure they are your instincts and not something programmed into you. To be vulnerable is to allow it all to flow. Allow yourself to release the reins and know that you are protected. Once you can do this your whole world will change. Change is the only constant.

Embrace it.
