Today’s card is the 4 of Wands. Completion.

We are now in uncharted territory, at least for most of us. Uranus has moved into Taurus for the first time in 84 years. So that means 1934! Uranus changes, innovates, invents, breaks and awakens. So what does that mean for us with today’s card and 5 energy?

It means that we are ready for a brand new chapter. We’ve completed old lessons that we needed to learn and we’re finally moving on. The 5 energy is the explorer so hold on to your hats!

What did you do yesterday to change up your routine? Did you do anything or did you stay in your comfort zone? I told you yesterday would be a bit uncomfortable… but it has set you up for this new improved you! You are ready to take on the world and you are not afraid to grasp the reins and finally take control of your life.

Now when I say, take control, I don’t mean to control everything around you. You need to still accept what is flowing around you but don’t let it control you. Don’t let life pass you by anymore. Treat the rest of your time on this planet as if you were going to die tomorrow.

How Deep is Your Love?

Welcome to Tuesday, May 15th which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Ace of Cups.

Take a look at today’s card. See how she stands naked, her arms outstretched, eyes closed, receiving the warmth of the sun. The chalice ready to be filled. That is today.

This card combined with today’s 4 energy can be a bit chaotic because today’s 4 is quite happy to be in a rut. There’s almost a comfort in misery, and we all know that misery loves company. But today I want you to rebel against that false comfort and open yourselves up to receive. I want you to be open to giving. I want you to be open to everything you are normally against.

As you ascend as a spiritual ‘be’ing you start to understand the Yin/Yang of how things work. There is no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ but what ‘works’ and what ‘doesn’t work’. They are both the same just in different degree’s on the same spectrum.

The Ace of Cups is about Love, Emotion, and Feeling. Today let yourself cry, or scream, or tell someone how much they mean to you. Throw away that secluded, hidden self who is afraid to show these emotions because today you might just learn something spectacular about yourself.

The Hierophant

Welcome to Monday, May 14th which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Hierophant.

Yesterday I asked you to go within. Did you? What did you experience?

When I receive the Hierophant card I think of the Dalai Lama and funny that today is the 14th of the month because the Dalai Lama is the 14th incarnation. Yesterday I was reminded of him a couple of times as I walked by a couple of monks dressed in their garb at a swap meet in the middle of the Vegas desert! What are the chances of that?

Anyway, I had asked you if you went within yesterday. I did and that is what I experienced with the monks. It was very random, but I smiled at them and they smiled back at me. I took it as a recognition of awareness. Is it possible that they walked past me twice yesterday coincidentally? It’s possible, but the way I look at it… there are no coincidences.

The Hierophant combined with today’s number 3 (the trine, creative growth and abundance) is telling us that magic happens when we recognize ourselves as creators. As I stated above; there are no coincidences. The Hierophant ‘knows’ and recognizes everything around them as reminders of their creative mind.

Welcome to Sunday, May 13th which is an 11 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the High Priestess.

Shhhhh! 

Yesterday I talked about ‘being’ and ‘doing’. Today we’re going to take that a step further and just sit in silence. With the power of the Master Number 11 it is telling us to trust our inner voice.

Yesterday I went on a 6+ hr. hike with friends. No electronics. Quiet. Peaceful. Just good company and the elements around us. When I was young, growing up in the woods of Western Massachusetts, this was a regular thing for me. I was quite the loner back then. I didn’t have a lot of friends except for those elements outside.

As we become busy in our lives we tend to leave our creative inner mind in the dust, always looking for that creativity again, somehow thinking that by ‘doing’ things that creativity will come back like some miracle.

Creativity comes when we stop talking and start listening. True wisdom lies within ourselves. All of the elements that we think that others have are within. It takes trust and listening to tap into these elements. Michael Bernard Beckwith said this, “Stop looking outside for help. Become still and listen.”

When I think of Jesus and all of the Dogma that has been spread for the thousands of years, as a society we have said that our inner voice should be silenced and that god, that something outside of ourselves, is much more special that who we are ourselves. I think Jesus or the concept of the Christ Consciousness is telling us that WE ARE GOD. John Lennon once said, “I am God.” and the media went crazy. What the media didn’t hear was this… “I am God and so are you.”

Today… go within. Tap into your inner knowing and trust it.

Fucking Perfect

Welcome to Saturday, May 12th which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 5 of Wands.

Did you have a good balance of energy yesterday? Could you feel the difference between the dream world and the real world? If you were like me and you focused on this you felt a distinct difference. I had to remind myself when the real world became ‘too’ real to maintain that balance. It was HARD!

Today you might feel a little bored and frustrated thinking that you’ve had enough of all of these lessons. Why is this so difficult?

We call this a spiritual practice because it takes a LOT of practice. I’ve referred to this many times but still, it needs to be said yet again. Remember in the Matrix when Cypher eats the steak and says that he knows it’s not real but he doesn’t care? He wants to be oblivious.

We know why people numb out. Because it’s easier to just think of this world as a rat race where we are born, we grow up, get married, buy a house, cut the grass with our neighbors, have grandkids and then die. That’s the easy life. But the second you open the door to something else you are opening a door which cannot be closed.

This restlessness and striving never seems to stop unless you breath deep and stop ‘trying’. You have to enter a state of ‘knowing’ which is not easy.

Yesterday I recorded one of my favorite tracks by Massive Attack called ‘Teardrop’. It was difficult and it was a test of relaxation for me. I can sing this song full voice and give it the powerful presence that I do with a lot of metal songs that I sing, but I wanted to sing this in my falsetto. It was so very easy to do and yet very difficult to hold myself back and just breath and relax. Just letting it flow out. It sounded unnatural because I didn’t feel like I was ‘trying’.

That’s the key to everything in the spiritual world. We don’t have to ‘try’. We just have to ‘be’.

We are spiritual ‘be’ings not spiritual ‘try’ings.

Dreamworld

Welcome to Friday, May 11th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Queen of Cups.

This card reminds me of the album I did with Rage of Angels a number of years ago. The album was called ‘Dreamworld’ and that is what the Queen of Cups is. She is a flowing fantasy, not very grounded. She is water and fluidity.

Today is a day of pure manifestation. Combined with today’s energy of the 9 we must lift our energies to the highest realm and not over analyze everything. This came up this morning with one of my metaphysical friends. Sometimes we over analyze everything to death. That’s what yesterday’s card warned us about and it still takes heed today because the first card that popped up this morning was the same card as yesterday!

Another warning that if we spend too much time on either side, fantasy or reality, we can get lost. It’s for us to use our intuition and balance between the two.

We are Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience.

So… today is a great day to not stay too grounded and to not have your head too much in the clouds.

Subjugate your Suffering

Welcome to Thursday, May 10th which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 10 of Swords. Ruin.

What does today’s card teach us? Believe me, I gasped when it came up this morning. First, it was worry and then after further analysis, it was a much-needed warning for all of us. Combined with today’s number 8 of re-evaluation it is something to heed.

Endless fighting ends with destruction and endless analysis ends with a loss of hope and/or belief.

You’ve heard me talk about the Ego in the past, about how we stubbornly stick to our guns about our beliefs. But if we put the ego aside we allow ourselves to change our beliefs/philosophies and allow them to adapt to this new and ever-changing world. Ego has kept us in this space of not allowing change to happen. Like the Hatfield’s & McCoy’s… they didn’t even know what they were fighting for any more they just fought because they always have. It’s silly.

If we look internally (As above, so below) we see this fight as well. I know I’ve been a victim of my own philosophies at times. The over-analysis of my own beliefs where I’ve had the internal war with myself about what I should or shouldn’t do in this world and the more that we do things in the public eye we get locked into what other people see us as. It’s expected of us.

I’ll take my band Kill Ritual. We are labeled as a ‘Thrash Band’, but is that who we are? No… not at all. We are ever-changing and adapting to what we see ourselves as and that changes just as members and new philosophies come into our spectrum. We have to deal with reviews of ‘This singer sucks’ or ‘I hate these guys now’ because of that public eye not allowing change.
