Happy Super Blue Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse!

Welcome to Wednesday, January 31st, which is a 7 in Numerology.

There is SO much to say about today… let me start by saying, Happy Super Blue Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo! This hasn’t happened since 1866 when the Civil War ended (it officially ended in 1865 but wasn’t formally declared by the President until 16 months later) and the Civil Rights Act was signed by Congress. What will happen this year? Only time and intention will tell. This is an 11 year so all of the books have been thrown out. This is a brand new energy.

This morning I took a drive up to Mt. Charleston around 5:30 am. There are no lights up there so it gave me a spectacular view. It was too dark for me to snap off any shots, but that didn’t concern me. I sat there with Eyeballs (my dog) and meditated, or tried to while he barked his head off.

Today’s card is the 3 of Disks, Work. Combined with today’s 7 energy it is telling us to mix the mystical with the practical and put our nose to the grindstone. And it’s not kidding, especially for my schedule coming up. I leave for Tampa on the 3rd and won’t be back until April! Yep, tour time! So extreme focus and discipline combined with work… but in a metaphysical way.

So what does it mean to mix the mystical with the practical? It means to remind yourself that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. Don’t get your head too far up in the clouds because the earth experience will slap you back down. You have to have balance. I’ve seen too many people in the spiritual world give up because they say it’s too difficult to live on this plane. You’re going to run across people who think all of this is bullshit and if you’re acting all ‘airy-fairy’ all the time you won’t be able to deal with them.

My tribe are the Rock n’ Rollers. The tattooed hippies that have a tendency to swear a bit more than others. They maintain the human aspect but will be the first ones to tell you about your Sun, Rising, and Moon sign. That is my tribe. I’m generalizing, but you get the picture.

So today… keep it real. Enjoy this day and manifest your own destiny and I will see you on the other side!

Being of Service

Welcome to Tuesday, January 30th, which is a 6 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Sun and combined with the energy of the 6 it is calling us to service.

When you feel confident in yourself when you are able to manifest anything for yourself when you are able to love yourself… it is because you are not focusing on yourself. It’s really that simple. Some of the happiest people I know are in service.

Years ago while going through a program called Summit Education, one of my stretches (I’ll explain this in another blog or email me and I will let you know more) was to be of service. This ‘stretch’ seemed impossible. There were 4 of us and the rules were that we couldn’t talk to each other, we couldn’t look at anyone and we were tasked with making a meal for the entire staff and students in the program. We had no clue how we were going to go about this but somehow we pulled it off. It was probably one of the most emotional times in my life because after the meal was done they led the 4 of us into a room, washed our feet and told us how much they loved us. I could cry just writing this now.

When you are of service you are not focusing on all of your problems, your bills, your anxieties in life. You are focusing on the task at hand. And when you do this, somehow, miraculously, you see things pull together. You start to notice that people are helping you because everybody in their true essence wants to help.

We are human ‘be’ings. Not human ‘do’ings.

Today… be of service. Try it on for size and see what miracles happen..

Welcome to Monday, January 29th, which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Hermit and combined with the energy of the 5 it is telling us that all of the power and knowledge is inside of ourselves. You might find yourself in a quiet space today contemplating life.

When we find ourselves in this position we have a tendency to ask questions. Instead of asking others questions, ask yourself these questions and trust the answers. Usually, the first thing that comes to your mind is the answer… that one that you say, “That’s silly.” THAT is the ONE!

If you’ve never trusted your instincts now is the time to start. You might have low self-esteem because someone in your family has told you that you won’t amount to anything unless you follow in ‘so in so’s’ footsteps, or because you’ve made mistakes in your life you’ve blown it.

Know that each and every one of us is the same. Know that you came down here on this earth plane to learn and grow and that whatever obstacles that you have in front of you were perfectly placed by you to take you to the next level.

And even if you think all of this is bullshit how does it serve you to blame others for your situation? It doesn’t. Instead of being a victim, take your power back and take control of your own life. We’re only here for a short period of time and then we die.

Would you rather leave here saying, “I wish I would have (fill in the blank).” Or would you rather leave here saying…

OMG! That was one hell of a ride!!!

You only get what you give

Welcome to Sunday, January 28th, which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 9 of Disks, Gain. Yesterday’s card was wealth and getting rid of the ‘lack’ mentality so today’s card combined with the energy of the 4 is saying to us; now that the lack is gone we can successfully move forward and reap the rewards that come to us.

The more I give, the more I get.

When we clung on for dear life to the ‘lack’ in our lives there was no true way for us to live in the ‘The more I give, the more I get.’ Mentality. It is impossible because even though giving is natural we didn’t believe that we deserved to get back anything. And we know that the Yin/Yang of life is balance. If you aren’t receiving, then you are not truly giving. You’re half-assing it.

I don’t want to beat this over your head, but I’m going to. Everything is balance. When you give big, you receive big. If you give little, you receive little. It’s just the way it works in this paradigm that we live in. And I know what you’re going to say… “But Dave… I always give and never get anything back.” When you are giving of yourself to somebody are you thinking in your head, ‘I’m only doing this to get something back?’ Like saying ‘I love you’ to someone… are you saying it only to hear it? You see, everything is feeling. If you are giving but still ‘feeling’ lack, that is what you will get back. You might be fooling other people, but you can’t fool yourself.

Power to the People

Welcome to Saturday, January 27th, which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 10 of Disks, Wealth, and combined with today’s energy it is telling us that we a finally finished with this lack mentality. We are aware of our power and not afraid of it. We know that we are powerful beyond measure and that it’s ok for people to look at us as helpful and as leaders. No more do we say, “I’m nobody.” That term does not exist in our lives because we own it. It’s ok to be looked at as a leader because we are. It’s not because we are pompous assholes, it’s because we know that owning this power we can make others feel powerful as well.

Life is good and all is well. Yes!

Today’s message is brief, yes, but powerful. Little words need to be said for people to understand who we are. Actually, no words need to be said at times. There is no reason to convince anybody of anything. Just ‘being’ is cause enough.

Swiftness

Welcome to Friday, January 26th, which is an 11 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 8 of Wands. Swiftness! Combined with the energy of the 11, a Master Number it is telling us to be ready. We are in for one hell of a ride.

Today communication will be direct, and if coming from the heart it will be heard with all of its intent and power. Today is not a day to pussyfoot around and drop hints. This is a day of direct action which will bring direct results.

Don’t get caught up in the drama of what is not said… too many people do this. They look at someone’s facial expressions, their body movements, and they read something that is not really there. It’s usually our own insecurities that make up these scenarios. If somebody is fidgety around you they might just have to go to the bathroom. Ha! No, seriously… that might be all that it is. But I know you might be saying to yourself, “This person wants to get away from me.” Get over yourself.

Again, I reiterate. Direct Action and communication will bring Direct Results. ß Period.

Oh Yeah… and if that isn’t enough for you we’ve got a Super Blood Blue Moon Eclipse right around the corner at the end of this month. Some are already starting to feel it’s effect.  Just to put it into context, the last time we experienced a Super Blood Blue Moon Eclipse was 36 years ago, but having this type of Eclipse in the sign of Leo is extremely rare and has not occurred in hundreds or possibly even thousands of years.

Where is your Power?

Welcome to Thursday, January 25th, which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Disks, Power! Combined with today’s 1 energy we are gifted with what true power is. It’s wisdom, success, justice for all, independence and a brand new beginning.

Where is your power? Is it something you’ve given up a long time ago or is it something you abuse? We see a lot of abuse of power in government which makes a lot of us feel powerless or in relationships we’ll have one side be controlling and the other quiet and submissive. It seems the power that we know of in today’s society has no balance.

To have a balance of power within oneself means you have the confidence to gain or lose materially, emotionally, peacefully and still maintain the same character. I look at great leaders like the Rev. Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Oprah, Tony Robbins… there are many examples of great people who have sacrificed and yet maintained their true character. These people have been loved and hated but that didn’t change who they are/were.

Again, the question? Where is your Power? Is it supplied by others giving you accolades or is it inside of you? If you wish to have true success, be ready to have failure accompany it. It’s the Yin/Yang balance or as the Hermetic Principles teach; Everything is dual, everything has two poles, and everything has its opposites. All manifested things have two sides, two aspects, or two poles. Like a quarter on the street… you pick it up and it cannot have only one side.

Know that whatever you have or do not have at this moment is right where you need to be to learn and grow to become your highest self. Own your Power and don’t let anything outside of yourself sway you one way or the other.
