Today’s card is the Prince of Wands. He wants it all and he wants it now but combined with today’s 7 energy of silence and introspection it might be a struggle.
I’ve been gone for 2 months and now that I am home, relaxed, unpacked… I am restless. My body hasn’t stopped from the constant hustle. I’ve been to over 30 cities and 4 countries in the last two months so it’s very hard for my body to stop, but I need to go within and ‘know’ that everything I’ve done will bear fruit.
Seeing results needs to come from inside first. We have to ‘know’, we have to ‘feel’… it has to become ‘real’ inside of us before it can become real on the outside.
Do you need proof?
Every physical thing on this Earth started as an idea first. It didn’t just pop into existence. It was a thought, and as they say in the spiritual movement… ‘Thought Manifests Reality’.
So today… relax. Nothing needs to be done. There is nowhere you need to go. It’s already been done and you’ve already been gone.
Trust that everything is perfect and everything happens for a reason and that Father/Mother/God has our back.

Welcome to Tuesday, February 20th which is a 33 in Numerology.
Today’s card is the Justice card and combined with the Master Number energy of the 33 today is a magical day. Seriously, the 33 doesn’t come up that often but when it does it is letting us know that you have the potential to be a Master Teacher. The focus is on reaching the world and uplifting the loving energy of mankind. There is no concern for personal ambition, only devotion to cause. Number 33 is signified by the word altruistic. This number has a high energy and is concerned with doing good in the world.
So where does the Justice fit in?
Justice of self… that is our concern at the moment. Where is it inside of us that can weigh ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ within? You’ve heard me mention several times that I don’t believe in ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ but in ‘what works’ and what ‘doesn’t work’. This does not mean to take on that persona of a Narcissist. It means that even though we know what works for us and doesn’t work for us, we still have the awareness of what works for others and what doesn’t work for others. Too often we see the self-serving with total disregard for others. The ‘Me Me Me’ generation. It reminds me of the bumper sticker I once saw, “The one with the most toys, in the end, wins.”

Welcome to Monday, February 19th which is a 5 in Numerology.
Today’s card is the Hanged Man. The Hanged Man represents surrender. Yesterday I had talked about control, so this is adding to yesterday’s energy. Easing you in, if you will. This card works perfectly with today’s energy of the 5. The 5 in numerology is about change and adaptability.
Yesterday I re-posted an article about gun control with the emphasis on control. This morning I was called a few names for it and deleted as a friend.
Am I mad? No. I’m a little concerned though. This person has fallen into the trap of control. Because they don’t like what I’ve said they have lashed out at me. It has nothing to do with me. It is a reflection of themselves. You see, when people feel like they are losing control, instead of looking at themselves it is much easier to attack what doesn’t work for them. I would like to thank this person for giving me something to write about today… I was going to go in a completely different direction.
Let’s get deeper into this…
I’ve mentioned my Love/Hate relationship with Facebook. It’s a great tool for me as a musician because I can get my music out to people much easier than let’s say, 20 years ago when I had to hand out flyers. Easier is not always better though. Yes, it’s easier to reach a broader audience but you lose the personal aspect of reaching out to people. When I play out live, that is where I get to have that personal touch. So, it’s a double-edged sword. That is the love. So… what is the hate?
My disdain for this medium is this… If you don’t like what someone says you block them. You cut them out of your life. You can easily listen to what you want to hear and nothing more. So to me, it becomes a narcissistic platform where you get to boost your ego or bully others because you don’t know how to do it in real life. We’ve lost the art of debate and taken on a paradigm of intolerance.
So this brings me back full circle to today’s card. Acceptance, letting go, going with the flow, ZERO attachment. It can be hard if you let your ego get in the way. But as I like to say…
Leggo my Ego.

Welcome to Saturday, February 17th which is a 3 in Numerology.
I’m back! Wow! What a crazy two weeks. There are so many people to thank for this adventure in the past couple of weeks. We were in Mexico, Belize, Haiti, The Bahamas, Tampa, and Miami. I made some deep connections with some of the most amazing people on the planet.
What was I doing?
I was in service. I’ve talked about being in service on a previous blog. In summary, you are giving of yourself and leaving your ego behind. It’s hard to do for some and challenging for even those of us who call ourselves ‘spiritual’.
I haven’t done a blog for over TWO WEEKS now, mainly because I have had ZERO cell phone service and no internet service. If you get a chance to go off of the grid for a couple of weeks I highly encourage you to do so. You will find that your connections to other people are more genuine when you’re not staring at your phone.
So… without further ado… on to today’s reading.
Today’s card is the 4 of Wands; Completion. Combined with today’s energy of the 3 is to do with celebration, abundance and intuition, creativity, growth, expansion, communication, and rhythm. This is a perfect card considering that I’ve taken a break from everything, mostly the internet, and delved deep into my spirituality. Spending time with myself.
What is it going to take for you to spend time with yourself? Will you have to force yourself onto a desert island with no internet and no phone like I did? Maybe that is what it takes. Even still I saw people buying internet service to connect with the outside world. I could see for some that they needed to because they had kids or sick family members. I’m not in their situation so leaving that all behind was rather easy.
When I was in Costa Maya, Mexico I got off of the tourist path and ventured out on my own. After walking for a half hour or so I found myself alone. I happened upon a small sign, low to the ground that said, ‘Art’ with an arrow pointing to the left. So I ventured down the trail and came upon a house with two dogs and an elderly man sitting out on the porch. I was welcomed by the dogs, and the man asked me to sit down. He was from Montreal, Canada and he was there to check in on his daughter, the Artist, who had moved to this tiny area of Mexico to get off the grid. I sat there and chatted with them for quite a long time, looked at her art and then bid them farewell.
There wasn’t a map on my phone or computer to lead me to these people. I was relying completely on my intuition, ‘knowing’ that I would go where I needed to go. It’s a wonderful and exciting feeling that makes you laugh to yourself when it happens, and it happened often on this trip.
So… my point of this little story is this; Once you take yourself off of the grid you will start to become your true self, even if it’s only temporary. In the ‘real’ world we get caught up in the ‘have to’ paradigm and never experience the ‘get to’. It takes trust in yourself and then eventually you will start to follow your intuition and then that is where the magic starts!

Welcome to Friday, February 2nd, which is a 6 in Numerology.
Before I start with today’s reading I want to let you know that I will not be doing another reading again until the 8th of February. I’ll be traveling and won’t have access to wifi.
Today’s card is The Lovers and it’s also a 6 day in numerology. What does that mean? It means that you can pull forces towards one. That could be one goal or into one person. The lovers signify not only union of two people, it signifies a balance.
As I mentioned in yesterday’s reading… you have to love yourself before you will find true love. So many people search for love to make themselves whole, it becomes a ‘need’ outside of themselves. I know for me, having a pattern of never being alone and ‘needing’ to be with someone I didn’t really know myself anymore. It was only after being alone for a significant amount of time that I got to know me again. I got to experience what ‘Dave’ wanted. I enjoyed being alone because I started to enjoy myself.
I’ve mentioned this many times to people… You cannot have what you are not. If you’re jealous, you will attract someone that will push your ‘jealousy’ buttons. If you are needy you will attract someone that pushes your ‘needy’ buttons. Once you are comfortable with yourself, you will attract somebody that is comfortable with themselves and wouldn’t that be just grand?
This also goes with the company you keep. If you have friends that are helpful, understanding, compassionate… you can bet that you share the same attributes. If you’re a gossip, you talk down to people, you lie and cheat… yep… you will attract the same.

Welcome to Thursday, February 1st (Rabbit Rabbit), which is a 5 in Numerology.
Today’s card is the 4 of Disks, Power! And combined with the energy of the 5 we are looking at ourselves as independent… actually, let me take that back… INTERdependent, free-thinkers. Why am I saying interdependent? Being independent means you stand alone, being dependent means you ‘need’ someone else. Being interdependent means that you could stand alone if you wanted to but you choose to be with someone. You take that combination of the power card and as a combined team, they together can conquer anything.
Today is a day of ZERO obstacles. You have the power within you, and around you. Financially, emotionally and physically. Even though the money isn’t in your pocket you know it doesn’t need to be because you draw money from a limitless supply when you want it.
Let me let you in on a little secret…
When you ‘need’ anything you will never get it.
The Universe is like a Genie, you say to the Genie, “I need One Million Dollars.” The Genie replies, “Your wish is my command, ‘You need One Million Dollars’”. If you change the word ‘need’ to ‘have’ you’re going in the right direction… but that isn’t enough. You can change the words all you want, but if you don’t ‘feel’ it, it’s useless because you can’t lie to yourself. In your head you’ll be saying, this is total bullshit. But like riding a bicycle, you keep getting on it and then eventually it becomes easy and you never forget how to ride a bicycle.
Today is the day to change how you ‘feel’ about things. Start faking it until you make it. Start attracting what you already know.
Like love… if you ‘need’ it, you are saying you don’t have it. But when you have it there is a power to it that changes you. Start with yourself and watch the miracles happen.

Welcome to Wednesday, January 31st, which is a 7 in Numerology.
There is SO much to say about today… let me start by saying, Happy Super Blue Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo! This hasn’t happened since 1866 when the Civil War ended (it officially ended in 1865 but wasn’t formally declared by the President until 16 months later) and the Civil Rights Act was signed by Congress. What will happen this year? Only time and intention will tell. This is an 11 year so all of the books have been thrown out. This is a brand new energy.
This morning I took a drive up to Mt. Charleston around 5:30 am. There are no lights up there so it gave me a spectacular view. It was too dark for me to snap off any shots, but that didn’t concern me. I sat there with Eyeballs (my dog) and meditated, or tried to while he barked his head off.
Today’s card is the 3 of Disks, Work. Combined with today’s 7 energy it is telling us to mix the mystical with the practical and put our nose to the grindstone. And it’s not kidding, especially for my schedule coming up. I leave for Tampa on the 3rd and won’t be back until April! Yep, tour time! So extreme focus and discipline combined with work… but in a metaphysical way.
So what does it mean to mix the mystical with the practical? It means to remind yourself that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. Don’t get your head too far up in the clouds because the earth experience will slap you back down. You have to have balance. I’ve seen too many people in the spiritual world give up because they say it’s too difficult to live on this plane. You’re going to run across people who think all of this is bullshit and if you’re acting all ‘airy-fairy’ all the time you won’t be able to deal with them.
My tribe are the Rock n’ Rollers. The tattooed hippies that have a tendency to swear a bit more than others. They maintain the human aspect but will be the first ones to tell you about your Sun, Rising, and Moon sign. That is my tribe. I’m generalizing, but you get the picture.
So today… keep it real. Enjoy this day and manifest your own destiny and I will see you on the other side!
