I was woken at 1 am this morning to the devastating news that Chris Cornell was gone.
I still can’t believe it.
My heart goes out to Chris’ family who I’m sure are still in shock.
Send them as much love and good vibes as you can muster.
By far, Cornell was the most influential singer to me of the 90’s… and helped pave the road for me as a power vocalist. I remember living on Cape Cod, working at my friends gas station, pulling the night shift and listening to my Soundgarden, Louder than Love cassette over and over again…
Today I will be doing the same.
Sleep well old friend. Everything will be ok now.
