I've been singing since I could remember. I started out singing in Choir at church, and performing musical theater in grade school, then high school. In my high school year book it is stated that I was willing to sacrifice myself for the theater, having been stabbed [for real] in the play Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Long story. In 1970, Jesus Christ Superstar premiered. I heard Ian Gillan's voice and that was it. I had never heard a rock singer perform in a theater production and it just hit me... that is what I want to do. Years later I would be the understudy for Jesus in said play, playing Simon throughout the production. I'm kind of a late bloomer. I never sang for a rock band until I was about 23 years old. When I finished high school I immediately joined the Marines and was planning on it being a long term commitment. As fate would have it though, I got a medical discharge on my second enlistment. I got hit by a car. Another long story. Seems to be a pattern with me. So now it has been many years, many recordings, many bands and hundreds of live shows. I've honed my voice pretty well I must say. I have been blessed to have worked with some amazing musicians from across the globe, as you will hear on my ReverbNation page, with many more to come. Welcome to Wednesday, July 25th which is a 7 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Wheel of Fortune.

I’ve been MIA for a few days because I’ve had the most awesome adventures since I left Las Vegas to come home and visit my Mom. This adventure ties in completely with the wheel of fortune. Let me explain…

When I last left you it was Monday the 23rd where I first flew to Baltimore and then on to Boston. I didn’t get in to Boston until evening and then needed to catch the bus, which I missed. At first I went into a panic because I was tired (and human), but as the wheel of fortune would have it I found a place to stay (thanks Sis!) and had the most amazing conversations with this couple until the wee hours of the morning. What seemed to most as a tragedy turned into a complete blessing and I gained new friends.

How often in our lives do circumstances happen that we call ‘bad luck’?

What if we could turn around that seemingly bad luck into an opportunity? What was learned? Who did we meet? Is it possible that that bad luck was actually something we needed to learn something new? I believe this completely… but let me paraphrase that I DID freak out a bit, but that freak out was very short lived.

As we move along in our spiritual practice we start to understand that there is no such thing as bad luck, actually there is no such thing as luck at all. Michael Bernard Beckwith calls luck; Living Under Conscious Knowledge. Once we realize that we are the creators in this grand matrix that we have the power to change everything.

Are you ready for a HUGE Change?

You can already feel it in your bones. Much has already changed in your life and you’re leaving the debris behind you, there are just few details that you have to sort out, that you have to face head on and then you’ll be 100% ready for the race that is about to begin.

It’s an exciting time but with every change in life there is a little fear. Just remember that the acronym for fear is; False Evidence Appearing Real. What does that mean? It means that it’s all made up in your pretty little head.

The Power of Allowing and Receiving

Welcome to Sunday, July 22nd which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Ace of Cups.

Are you ready for an adventure?

Today’s card speaks of love… we are talking universal love. When we step into a space of universal love we allowing new things to happen in our lives, new people, new projects… and if you are single this means someone could enter right about now if you allow them to.

What do I mean by allowing them to? Well, we have a tendency to close doors and shut people out because of past judgements. With today’s energy of the 4 it is telling us to look at the 4 levels of consciousness; Unconscious, Subconscious, conscious, and superconscious. If you treat each of these elements with fairness you will create universal love and harmony. Being unconscious, or at least being aware that you are unconscious to some things allows you to be open in allowing new things to come in. So, be open to your dreams. Look at them and allow yourself to reflect on them. Be open to new ideas and allow them to guide you to a new understand. Be open to being a completely different person if you wish. There’s a lot to this whole concept that I will elaborate on in another blog.

In summary; be open.

Welcome to Saturday, July 21st which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 3 of Disks.

One of my favorite inspirational songs is by one of my mentors, Michael Bernard Beckwith. In his song ‘U R the Answer’ he states this truth…

“And then there is this thing called focus. This willingness and ability to stay the course. To be so focused on that which is real, to be so focused on that which is eternal we make a U-turn towards unadulterated, unified, the moment that transformation occurs you’re setting yourself free.”

Today is a day to focus on your best abilities. That thing that you are so undeniably good at but somewhere inside of yourself you won’t allow your light to shine. You have to understand that shining your light is not ‘ego’. Shining your light is allowing yourself to be present for others to see that light which helps them to shine as well. Your gifts are here to share and when you finally realize that, like Beckwith says, ‘… you’re setting yourself free.’.

Today’s energy of the 3 has strong individual principles. It represents an end of a cycle with a new beginning ahead. Communication and rhythm are in this energy so get up off of the couch and shine your light.

Welcome to Friday, July 20th which is an 11 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 9 of Cups.

Follow your bliss!

What are you doing with your life? Are you happy? If not, why?

Today’s energy of the 11, the Master Number is telling us to look at things with a different perspective, a different angle. Sometimes the way we’ve been looking at things becomes so mundane that we forget to look at it in a different light.

Today would be a great day to go outside and start to notice things differently. In the past you’ve had the same neighbors motorcycle pass by you while you’re out walking the dog, it scares the dog and you curse the rider in your head for being so loud in the morning. Instead, maybe watch it pass and recognize the color of it, do you even know? Look at the rider, is he smiling? I’m sure those loud pipes make him feel safer around cars. Or maybe when you rise in the morning recognize your home… is it cozy? Do you feel safe in it?

The point being, there are so many things around us that can make us smile if we choose to look at the beauty in it, or we can choose to blindly pass it all by. It’s our choice.

But wouldn’t you rather choose happiness?

Intuition takes me there

Welcome to Thursday, July 19th which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the High Priestess.

Here’s that intuition again… can you hear it?

How many of us follow our gut? Do we listen to it before we speak or do we just blurt out whatever is on our mind? I call this verbal vomiting. It’s when we aren’t following our gut, we are following our mind. Our mind has some good uses, but our gut is the key to everything.

It’s been said for a long time that we should follow our heart, which I agree in a sense but following our gut instinct is much more important and will serve us much better.

Are you listening to your dreams? If you are, what are they telling you? I’ve they are all garbled go out and get yourself a dream book. They are great for interpreting what our subconscious and our super-conscious are trying to tell us. There are many hidden messages in dreams. One thing I will do in the morning when I rise is I will write three pages and just let it flow, I will do my best not to let my mind take control and try to make me ‘think’ about what I am writing. This is a great practice to get your gut to reveal to us what it is that we need to learn.

So… with the vibration of the 1 today it is telling us that great wisdom will be found when we write it down (Hey! I made a rhyme!).

I’m a Genius!

Welcome to Wednesday, July 18th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Magus or Magician.

Talent labors while Genius creates.

Life is truly what we make it, I believe this completely. There comes a time though in our lives where our talent needs to turn into genius. How do we do this? We start gravitating towards our tribe, those people out there that are on the same journey. Do we leave the ones behind that aren’t on our journey though? No… we just nudge them along (if they choose to be nudged).

There are many, many talented people out there slaving away trying to make something spectacular happen in their lives. In the music world, the ones that stand out are the ones that tap into source and do what nobody else is doing, that creates genius. And I’m sure that those that tap into source also had help from like-minded souls here on the planet.

So on a day like today we want to get together with our tribe, and if you don’t have a tribe then manifest one. Today is a perfect day to manifest your dreams and desires. Today’s vibration of the 9 is telling us that the old paradigm is behind us if we choose to let it go and tap into our power.

Again, genius creates while talent labors. Haven’t you labored enough?
