Welcome to Monday, May 7th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Star. Yesterday I talked about moving forward and living, truly living life. I morbidly said that we are all going to die, but it’s the truth. I believe that we are here for a reason. Every single one of us is here for a reason. I believe we all have a calling but only a small percentage are willing to heed to that calling. I hear excuses all of the time like; “I would do (fill in the blank) if I had more money”, or “If I had more time”, or “If I hadn’t been raped”, or (fill in the blank).

Have you ever stopped to think that whatever your disposition might be, that it was perfectly set up for you to shine even brighter? How many stories have we heard about people overcoming the most insane obstacles? We’ve heard thousands of these stories.

So what makes their story better than yours?

Today’s card is a guiding light… it’s a deep realization that you have the tools at your disposal right now, right here, to be that star that you’ve always inspired to be. Today’s 5 energy is letting us know that we are on the right path, that we are independent and free if we choose to focus on our talents instead of our shortcomings.

Shaking the Tree

Welcome to Sunday, May 6th which is a 22 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Cups. Like every card and number, there is a Yin/Yang, positive/negative to each. Today’s 4 of cups talks about the stability of feelings, love without risk and emotional enrichment. On the negative side, it can be possession and restriction.

This ‘Luxury’ card today is asking us where in our lives are we comfortable? I mean this in the form of complacency. When this talks about love without risk there are many out there that have just settled and their freedom and excitement is lost.

Emotions can’t breathe with too much control.

With today’s energy of the 22, the Master Builder, it is talking about balance and precision. With this energy, we can turn any dream and ambition into reality if we wish to take the risk.

Some of you might be thinking that I’m talking about relationships alone. Not at all. Some of us have great relationships, so this might be talking about a career, or your family, friends, etc..

What area of your life are you afraid to shake up? If you’re in a crappy job and you’re afraid that you won’t have money if you leave your job, how are you serving your soul? Are you really doing what you want? Are you really where you want to be? When will you decide that right NOW is a perfect time? On your deathbed?

Today might also be a good day to get in touch with your family and hash out some old unwanted energy. Tell them how you really feel and how you’ve been feeling stifled for a long time. Or maybe you’re the one that is stifling them?

There are many things to ponder today… but the underlying theme is to shake the tree. See what falls in your lap or hits you on the head to wake your ass up.

Lady Luck

Welcome to Saturday, May 5th which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Wheel of Fortune. Lady Luck! Although, as I’ve mentioned numerous times in the past, there is no such thing as luck. The acronym for luck is Living Under Conscious Knowledge and combined with today’s energy of the 3 we have the tools.

What does that mean?

It means that we’ve tapped into a source where all things are created. In the Law of Attraction, they say that whatever you focus on becomes your reality. People get too caught up in the words of ‘wishing’, ‘hoping’, and ‘wanting’ things. When it comes down to it, the ‘feeling’ is the only thing that the Universe understands.

When you are focused on anything, good or bad, depending on how deep you are feeling it, that becomes your reality. Why do you think so many people get into a negative slump? They are more prone to go into beat up mode or crying, feeling bad, more so than smiling and feeling great.

The next time you decide that you want to change your ‘luck’ start focusing on that which you desire, start feeling it. Start describing it in your mind. What does it taste like? How do you feel when you’ve gotten what you’ve wanted? Describe it in every detail. Do this every evening before you go to bed and I guarantee you that your ‘luck’ will change. Create a vision board to look at every night before you go to bed.

It has to feel real to you before it will ever be.

Welcome to Friday, May 4th which is a 2 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 3 of Wands. Today is a great day to start a project that you’ve been wanting to tackle for quite some time. You have the confidence now and you feel as if you are unstoppable. All of the elements are lining up to back you.

Today’s energy of the 2 is telling us that we have the spiritual insight and enlightenment to look at this project with different eyes. The ‘ah ha’ moment, if you will.

Welcome to Thursday, May 3rd which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Disks. Power! Security, Stability, and Gain! Combined with today’s 1 energy of new beginnings today is a good day to relax into this power.

You’ve always been powerful inside but haven’t had the confidence to use that power. A lot of times we are afraid to show our power because we think that the ego will run rampant and we’ll turn into the people we can’t stand.

There is a balance that needs to be maintained, for sure, but there really isn’t a reason to worry about the ego. Ego usually comes out when we ‘don’t’ feel confident. We’ll tell people how great we are because, like the mirror that I talk so much about, we want to hear how great we are. People who are truly confident and powerful have no need to hear it from anybody else. They don’t need the reassurance.

Where is it in your life that you feel powerless? Focus on that area to bring it into balance with the areas of your life that ‘are’ working well. Imagine your life as a pie chart. Break down each area of the chart; family, work, relationships, health, mental well-being, social interactions, talents, etc… each chart will be different for each person. Once you have these areas blocked off, mark on them where you think you are at. Once that is done, look at the chart… are each of the areas on the chart equal? That is what you want to achieve. Balance in all areas.

Welcome to Wednesday, May 2nd which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Queen of Wands. Yesterday we talked about not getting caught up in our past. If you did do this today might be an even tougher day because today’s card, the Queen, is hot-tempered and isn’t prone to forget which can make her vengeful.

Be aware of those around you that hold grudges or if you happen to be that person yourself… it might be best to hide out for a day. Meditate, and focus on what serves you and what doesn’t. Does that person or situation from the past help you grow? Or does it stifle you?

For those of you that have decided to stay the path of the NOW then you can enjoy the Queen’s motion, transformation, and adaptability. And along with today’s energy of the 9 this will bring out the leader in you making Universal Love, brotherhood and selflessness part of who you are for years to come.

Be Present

Welcome to Tuesday, May 1st which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Cups. We have to be careful with this card only if we find ourselves longing for the past in some way/shape/form. Did you know that they did a neurological study and every time we think of the past we change our perception of it? Depending on your mental disposition this could be very good or very bad. And if you’re struggling with the present you might be looking at the past as ‘The Good ‘Ol Days’.

If you are living in the present moment and the past is just a place where lessons were learned then this card can mean something totally different. Happiness, Pleasure, Success, a harmony of natural forces and the beginning of a steady increase. You have a sense of well-being right now and combined with the energy of the 8; Good Fortune, Authority, Psychic Abilities and natural talents are there at your disposal right now.

So… if you are looking for ‘The Good ‘Ol Days’, as many are right now I encourage you to start focusing on what you can change right now that will give you that sense of peace because as I stated above, ‘The Good ‘Ol Days’ might just be a neurological chemical change because the emotions during that time of struggle were no different than they are today. And many of us that didn’t have cell phones, facebook, and all of the social media tools that we have today do not capture those memories that vividly.

Am I saying that there weren’t some things that I miss? I do miss the simplicity of no cell phones and no internet, but I also acknowledge what these services bring us as well. We can’t live in the past.

Be Present and just breathe deep.
