My Own Shit

Welcome to Sunday, May 27th which is a 7 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 7 of Swords.

Poor me!!!

Do you fall for the poor me’s? You know that this is futile, right? When we get overwhelmed and are afraid to make a decision it’s easy to fall into this state of mind. It allows us to not make a decision and blame it on something or someone else.

There is a mantra that I like to say when falling into this trap.

“Oh what the fuck. Do it anyway.”

That moment when I get scared and don’t want to make a decision I take this leap and say this mantra and go forward before I can even think about it. Do you know what I’ve found out after doing this consistently? I learned that there was nothing really to be afraid of after all. When the bills pile up, pay them. When you are confronted with someone you’ve been avoiding, look them in the eye and tell them how you feel.

Combined with today’s 7 energy of responsibility this is telling us that when we take the bull by the horns and handle our own shit eventually there will be nothing, no obstacles, nothing that can affect us in a negative way. I like to look at these obstacles as lessons that need to be learned.

Stranger in the House

Welcome to Saturday, May 26th which is a 6 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Prince of Swords.

Yesterday we touched on our relationship with money, and it seems that it touched on subjects in the world about privacy as well. Interestingly, yesterday the EU passed the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) which will affect the pockets of companies like Facebook and Google and many others because legally they are not allowed to share our data anymore.

Today’s card, the Prince of Swords, can be sly, dishonest and untrustworthy. He is highly intelligent and reaches the highest levels in a very short time and then throws it all away, not because he’s scared… he just loses interest.

Today could be one of those days where you’ve invested a lot of time, money, etc. and then decide that you’re just not invested anymore. I have a hunch that with today’s energy of the 6; a deep sense of order within, truth, and responsibility we will see a lot of people waking up to this truth and just dropping out of the social media platform as it stands right now.

This isn’t a scare tactic.

My advice for today? The people that you surround yourself with, that you personally know? Make sure you’ve got their phone numbers for when they drop off the grid.

Money for Nothing

Welcome to Friday, May 25th which is a 5 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Disks.

Yesterday we talked about clarity and living your truth, seeing the big picture. Now today with this card the Universe is rewarding us and letting us know that we will have the abundance that we need and possibly more than we need!

Remember, money is an energy, and like all energies, we need to allow it in and allow it to flow through us. When we say that we don’t have money, or I will never have money we are stopping that flow. What we are trying to do is ‘allow’ it to come to us. Yes, allow. What that means is that it is there… we are the ones stopping it from coming into our lives. This could be for many reasons. What we need to do is go to the root of the problem.

For Example; My problems with money stem from childhood. I saw that when money came to our family it went away immediately and there was never anything left over so what that did to me growing up created a blockage and I made up in my head this mantra, “I don’t want money because it hurts too much when it goes away and it always goes away.”

Yours could be different. The key is to recognize this blockage and to change that old mantra to something that will allow abundance to come to you.

Natural Science

Welcome to Thursday, May 24th which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Swords.

If you read yesterday’s card I mentioned that you were now the teacher. Today’s card is Science. You’ve passed through so many phases in your life and now the pressure has eased a bit. You can see clearly. Everything is making sense and the big picture is very clear.

Now that this clarity is evident make sure that you are listening to your heart, not your head. Don’t fall back into old patterns just because they are ‘comfortable’. You can now find comfort in other areas.

Life ebbs and flows as we pass from one phase to another. Yesterday I was mentioning to a dear friend that they wouldn’t have recognized me 16 years ago, both physically and mentally. Yes, I’ve carried the same philosophy (for the most part) but during my evolution, I’ve become much more confident, independent and now stand in my truth with much more ease than before.

Are you completely the same as you were 16 years ago?

If so… are you living your truth? Are you always striving to recreate yourself?

Celebrities struggle with this because the masses, their fans, business partners, etc. don’t want them to change. They want them to stay in a little bubble of time and the ones that do change are chastised but those are the ones we should be looking up to because they are living their truth, not someone else’s.

Today’s 4 energy can help you with solidifying your truth and owning who you are. This energy will give you the self-control to stand in your truth whatever that truth might be.

Humans Being

Welcome to Wednesday, May 23rd which is a 3 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 8 of Disks.

Yesterday we talked about moving forward and watching our efforts flourish. The 8 of Disks stands for Prudence. It’s a very generous card because it talks about development and learning. We’ve been the student for most of our lives and now it’s time to switch to the role of teacher.

Am I scaring you?

No need to be scared. You have the tools and you know what to do. Just be yourself and trust your instincts and all will come out fine.

I remember when I first started doing Reiki, I thought, quite honestly that it was BS. I mean, I wanted to believe that it had some magical power but something inside of me just wanted proof. After working with a lot of people over the years I’ve had the proof given to me time and time again. Why didn’t I believe it all right from the beginning?

We, as humans never seem to take direction from people… well, most of us don’t. We need to prove it to ourselves. We need to experience it.

So, again, don’t be scared. You’ve experienced and seen proof time and time again. You know what you’re talking about now so just move forward and ‘be’ the teacher.

Today’s energy of the 3 is also pushing us to share our gifts with the world. Remember, we are spiritual ‘be’ings having a human experience, the emphasis on ‘be’ing, not ‘do’ing.

Life’s What You Make It

Welcome to Tuesday, May 22nd which is an 11 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Prince of Disks.

Did you sit alone yesterday? Did you look deep within yourself and acknowledge what you’ve accomplished?

It’s time to get moving again. This card is like a horse with blinders on. You’ve got your eye on the prize and there isn’t much that can sway you. If you did, in fact, sit with yourself yesterday I’m sure once you settled in you got to see the big picture of it all. You see… life is what we make it, not what it makes us and once we learn this then we can flow through it with much more ease than those that play the victim.

This also means that you take on a role of ‘the buck stops here’. You are the source of all that you create and destroy. There is no room as a leader to blame others for mistakes. Being ‘source’ is not easy but it’s also the most gratifying feeling when things go right. Why? Because you know that you are the one that made things go right, nobody else.

Today’s number 11 is a Master Number. It is the Master Teacher; Illumination, enlightenment, inspiration, and expression. Not only is today an 11 numerologically but today is also the 22nd of the month. 22 is also a Master Number, the Master Builder. Dreams made manifest!

Soul Meets Body

Welcome to Monday, May 21st which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Hermit.

This is a perfect card for today because here in Las Vegas it’s rainy. I remember the rain and thunderstorms of New England where I grew up. We had a big bay window in our dining room where I would sit and watch the lightning over the mountains. It was peaceful to me. It was nature telling me that this was a time to sit alone and just watch, reflect and go within. It was always easy for me as a child to go within.

Today is one of those days… you’ve done a lot of work in the last couple of months. You’ve been hustling, setting yourself up for the future, partying, etc. It might be difficult for some to sit alone, and if that is the case then go get a massage or go to a spa. Somewhere that you can sit silent and reflect, like the child watching the thunderstorm only now it’s about your inner child.

Today’s energy of the 1 is of new beginnings, independence and originality so those might be things you want to ponder while sitting alone today.

Don’t be afraid to sit alone. You are more powerful and wonderful than you give yourself credit for. Breathe! Peace!
