You are the answer!

Welcome to Saturday, June 2nd which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the High Priestess.

Yesterday I took a walk in a Labyrinth. They say that when you walk into a Labyrinth you clear your mind. It’s a walking meditation and I highly recommend it for anybody that has a hard time meditating. It allows you to focus on the path alone and eventually your mind will clear and you’ll feel a sense of peace. They say to walk barefoot and become one with the earth. I did this, even though it’s 100 degrees here in Las Vegas it didn’t seem to bother me. Possibly because I wasn’t focused on anything but the path and my breath.

The High Priestess is reminding us of our duality. We are both Feminine and Masculine and if we don’t tap into both aspects we are closing off a part of us that helps balance us as human ‘be’ings.

Do you trust your intuition?

Is there a part of yourself that you are always second guessing? I should have done this, or I should have done that, listening too much to other people? When was the last time that you acted on impulse? Did it serve you? How many times have you walked aimlessly just following your footsteps only to find yourself in the place you needed to be at that moment?

I try to do this often to keep everything in perspective. Trusting your intuition is difficult in today’s day and age. We have GPS’s, computers, phones. What if you could just turn those off for a day, or even an hour and just follow your intuition? Maybe you’ll learn something about yourself, or you might meet someone interesting. That’s when the ‘coincidences’ happen. Although, if you believe there are no coincidences then these moments become your intuition, your inner guidance bringing you a gift.

Go get lost today and see what you might find.

With today’s energy of the 1 we are guided by our intuitive sense. Call it ‘God’s Plan’ if you will. I don’t mean that in any Dogmatic sense. I’m talking about the God within you.

Welcome to Friday, June 1st which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Swords.

Take a look at this image. Notice that the flower blooms once exiting the Labyrinth? There are actually two of them coming together. I take this as the conscious and the subconscious traversing through life and coming together. Science and Spirituality entering into enlightenment.

So what does this mean for us?

So much of our lives we are seeking something outside of ourselves. We will follow guru’s, religions, rock stars, movie stars, parents… everyone but ourselves because we somehow don’t believe that we have the answers inside of ourselves.

We’ve been conditioned to think this in our society. But what if we could take a deep breath and know that the answers were inside of ourselves? You wouldn’t be reading this.

Today I am going to take a walk in a Labyrinth. Why? Because yesterday labyrinths popped up all around me an then pulling this card this morning and seeing the labyrinth once again was an affirmation to myself that I must do this. I am trusting my instincts. What will I learn? I don’t know yet. Isn’t that seeking something outside of myself? Possibly. Or it’s possible that walking in a labyrinth might open up another chapter in my life.

So, what I’m saying here is; don’t ever stop seeking for your own truth. Just stop seeking it from others. I love that you come to learn from me and I hope that I am the catalyst to your own enlightenment.

Welcome to Thursday, May 31st which is an 11 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 2 of Cups.

Love!

If you take a look at the pictures there seems to be two people in it, but can you see the extra arm? What this says to me is that we must love ourselves first before we can truly love anybody else.

Whatever you have beat yourself up for in the past, let it go. If you are having a tough time letting it go then follow the Reiki Principles…

Just for today, I will not worry.

Just for today, I will not be angry.

Just for today, I will be grateful.

Just for today, I will do my work honestly.

Just for today, I will be kind to every living thing (including myself).

Forgiveness is HUGE. When you find yourself falling into old patterns just take it day by day, hour by hour, or minute by minute if you need to. You can say to yourself, “Ok… I just did (fill in the blank) and I hate myself for doing it.” Look at it, see it for what it was, then move on to the next minute. I had to do this with smoking several years ago. I would say to myself, “I really want a cigarette.” Then I would say to myself, “I’ll have one in a minute.” And I would continue saying this until I got busy with something else and the urge left me. I don’t ever refer to myself as an ‘ex-smoker’. I just don’t smoke and it’s been well over 20 years now.

Love yourself. Embrace yourself. You will start attracting the same. Today’s energy of the 11 is guiding you and helping you. Remember, 11 is a Master Number. It is the Spiritual Light Messenger and Teacher. It’s a supportive energy here to help you along your path.

Mercy Mercy Me

Welcome to Wednesday, May 30th which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 4 of Disks.

When I see this card I think of the 4 elements of the Earth; Air, Water, Fire and Earth and what we possess in the material world. Yesterday I was doing a bicycle ride up in Red Rock Canyon and on our way down to the 215 Highway I saw the mass of houses being built and how close they were together as well as how close to the park they were. I felt a pain of disgust because the beautiful landscape was being stripped away by developers. I can’t completely blame the developers because people are buying these homes. Another thing that struck me was how close together they were and that they had windows looking into windows of the other home. What a senseless waste. 9 out of 10 of those windows will never be open in fear of catching their neighbors eye and possibly a smile.

You’re going to think that I’m getting all doomsday and shit, and I am partially. When are we going to wake up as a society and say, “I have enough shit already. I don’t need anymore shit.”

Last night I was walking around the house looking at my possessions, or, what I have left of possessions, and I’m still finding it to be too much. How many things in this house? How many books? How many musical instruments? How many clothes? If this all went away, what would I actually miss?

I watch this with Facebook, Instagram, etc. and how we take selfies to acknowledge that we are important to the world, the ‘friend’ requests, the meaningless banter, etc. What purpose does it serve? Is it a tool of growth or a distraction?

Today’s vibration is the 1. The one represents new beginnings, perfect justice for all, leadership and independence. It’s asking us what we are doing to contribute as a society.

Are we a tool for growth or are we just another distraction?

Because I’m happy…

Welcome to Tuesday, May 29th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Devil.

I’ve pulled this card before. Some get scared when they see it but there is really nothing to be afraid of. The Devil card means freedom of spirit, and the independence of mind. But on the shadow side it could mean darkness, loneliness and being misunderstood.

I like to think of this card as the instinctual and animal side of us. When we follow our ‘gut’, our instincts it’s usually not the norm in society so most people won’t follow their instinct in fear of what society might think of them. They might be mocked or cast out. They might lose friends, etc. You’ve heard me talk about ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ and that I don’t believe in right or wrong. I believe in what works and what doesn’t work. This brings it down to a personal level because what might be wrong for you might be right for me.

But what about in society? We seem to work on a ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ pallet. We’ve convinced ourselves that this keeps society together. But does it? Would we really have anarchy if everybody lived their truth?

Something to ponder.

With today’s energy of the 9 it is telling us to decide for ourselves what works and what doesn’t work. It is telling us that we have the freedom to change and that we can co-operate in a society where everybody can do their own thing and that it can work for all.

Martyr

Welcome to Monday, May 28th which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Queen of Disks.

Yesterday we talked about how easy the road is to take as the victim. The Queen of Disks underplays her role, one example I read stated her as saying, “I’m only the housewife.” Quietly working in the background, usually she is the glue that holds EVERYTHING together. A bit too modest, I would say because that role is essential. But all too often that role becomes grating and demeaning which usually leads to them hiding their true feelings with some sort of substance (I’ll let you pick your poison.).

Those who are not as strong as others might become clingy and needy. We all know that person, and it might just be you in this example. Does that make them ‘bad’? Not at all… it just means that they’ve lost their meaning amongst all of the stuff they’ve burdened themselves with because they believe that they have to do all of this because it’s the ‘right’ thing to do.

Being a facilitator for other people’s journey’s is admirable but once you’ve lost sight of your own journey you are not helping anymore. Remember, we are all beautiful and unique in our own individual ways and our journey is just as important as another’s journey.

Today’s 8 energy of authority, power, and the yin/yang of giving AND receiving is telling us that yes, WE are just as important and that WE need to take care of ourselves first. Just like they tell you on an airplane. Put your mask on FIRST before you help anybody else’s with theirs.

Again, I mentioned yesterday how being the victim is easy, well, compound that with being a martyr, it’s the same thing. You are serving no one, especially not yourself.
