Welcome to Saturday, August 18th which is a 1 in Numerology.

Today’s card is Temperance.

Ok. Melt down time. At least that is where I was at last night. As an artist (and others can probably relate with me) there is an ebb and flow but somewhere inside our meltdowns we ‘know’ that we are in for a major breakthrough. The Yin and the Yang. Each opposite has an equal opposite. It’s just the law and if you study the Hermetic Principles you can delve more into this yourself.

When going through a breakdown it’s nice to have someone else to bounce it off of but a word of warning to the other… we might not make much sense because we haven’t processed it completely. I feel bad for friends and especially for my partner when they ask, “What’s wrong?”. Because I haven’t processed it yet who knows what the hell will come out of my mouth. Sometimes it’s best to just go for a walk, or go to bed, or go into deep meditation before we can verbally vomit all over the place.

The temperance card is telling us, the artists, that our breakdowns will always lead to breakthroughs. They go hand in hand and we have to remind ourselves that everything is perfect and everything happens for a reason. So on a day like to today, if you were like me and had a meltdown yesterday, look at where the pieces are falling into place today.

Today’s vibration of the 1 is telling us that today is a new day and that great wisdom can be had when we surrender to the Yin/Yang of life. Every up must have a down and vise versa.

Welcome to Friday, August 17th which is a 9 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Sun.

Wow! The cards this week have been telling a story. Have you been following it? Have you started to realize how powerful you actually are?

The Sun shines no matter if you do or not. You can’t deplete it, you can’t suck all of it’s energy away because it has more to offer than you can fathom. Have you been afraid to shine your light lately? Afraid that when you shine that other forces around you will suck your energy away? Well… cut the shit!.

I’m speaking to myself as well you know. In the back of my mind I’ve been telling myself to conserve my energy because I’m working 7 days a week and I’m thinking that I won’t be able to keep up, but I have been! I’ve been getting up early, staying up late, going out with friends, going to see bands… it seems that my worry is just an old pattern. Now I’m not saying that you should get yourself sleep deprived but what I am saying is that if things are moving and shaking in your life… let them!

Remind yourself that you are a powerful ‘be’ing and that your energy, once you tap into source, is inexhaustible. It’s all a state of mind… if you think you will be exhausted then you will, but if you think you can’t, you won’t. Pretty simple.

Today’s energy of the 9 is telling us that once we create a balance between personal love and universal love, that once we tap into source, we become source.

As Gandhi once said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”, but I challenge you to change that quote to, “Be the light you wish to see in the world.”

You are source. You are more powerful than you give yourself credit for.

Natural Mystic

Welcome to Thursday, August 16th which is an 8 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Star.

The last 3 days seem to be having a theme. Tuesday we had the Magician who created magic around him, then we had the High Priestess who used the elements around her to create magic and today we have the Star that knows that all the magic around him/her is in process.

When the Star card pops up it’s a time to look at everything around you as working in your favor. If we’ve been following this theme we start to notice that we really don’t have to ‘do’ anything, we just need to ‘be’. After all, we are Human ‘Be’ings, not Human ‘Do’ings.

It’s easy to get caught up in ‘do’ing stuff. We feel that if we aren’t busy then nothing will get done but the truth of the matter, well… my belief which relies a lot on the Law of Attraction and has been my ‘truth’ for several years, is this…

If you are focused on ‘do’ing you are telling yourself that you are lacking, that something is missing but when you are ‘be’ing you are saying that you already have everything. I’m not saying to just sit around and let things happen, yes we need to put ourselves into action, but put yourself in action after you have already established in your head that you don’t ‘need’ anything. It’s all about your state of mind, and once you achieve this state of mind you’ll be much calmer and you’ll find yourself giggling to yourself when things just start happening around you.

Remind yourself every day that life is not just happening around you but that you are making it happen.

Today’s energy of the 8 is telling us that we are creative and powerful and that the yin/yang of life, the giving and receiving is on our side.

Listen with that Inner Ear

Welcome to Wednesday, August 15th which is a 7 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the High Priestess.

Today’s card is the direct predecessor to yesterday’s card, the Magician. The difference between the two is that the Magician creates its own reality while the High Priestess draws to the energy from around her. She takes the energy of the universe and uses it to work with her.

Today is a great day to notice what is going on around us, to listen for those subtle messages in dreams, in the wind, the elements around us. To be silent and listen to our intuition. How often do we brush our intuition aside as just fluff?

What I do to practice with my intuition is to take a drive in my car and just see where I end up. One of the most memorable times was when I hopped on my motorcycle and rode from LA to Sedona, Arizona and ended up becoming part of the Bell Rock Hiking Club. Point being… we will never know unless we start listening to our inner ear.

Strange Magic

Welcome to Tuesday, August 14th which is a 33 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the Magus or Magician.

I can’t think of a better numerological number and card to come back to today after my two week hiatus. There has been a lot of magic happening all around and it’s all because I believe it to be.

When the Magus card comes up it is telling us that we create our reality. If we make it stressful, then it is. If we allow life to flow, then it will. There’s a magic to it all when you start to allow life to flow around you, when you become the observer. You start to notice patterns not only within yourself but within others and you want to help them see the clarity that you see.

With today’s vibration of the 33, the teacher of teachers, master of healing energies, it is taking the Magus and amplifying it. Today, become the observer, look at your patterns, but instead of going into beat-up mode, take your ego out of the picture and just look at the pattern. See where it guides you. Notice where it stops you from becoming the magician in your life.

Clarity

Welcome to Wednesday, August 1st which is a 2 in Numerology.

Today could be a weird day for a lot of us. The Ace of Swords is letting us know that what we couldn’t see before, we can see now, while the vibration of today’s 2 is telling us not to make any hasty decisions.

It might be that we see ‘the big picture’ which we couldn’t before so we want to act, and act fast mainly because we are excited about what we’ve learned. You’ve heard the expression ‘Haste makes Waste’? Well, this new understanding that you have… look at it, feel it, work it out in your gut/heart/head first before acting. I Want Your Sex

Welcome to Tuesday, July 31st which is a 4 in Numerology.

Today’s card is the 6 of Cups.

Let’s talk about SEX!

Sex is a very taboo subject for most people. Let’s face it… sex can make or break relationships so why do we treat it like it’s the red headed step child from that lover you wish you never had? Some of the healthiest relationships that I’ve seen are very open sexual relationships. They are not afraid to laugh in the bedroom, or, dare I say… experiment.

Are you the type that turns to lights out because it’s dirty? Maybe try leaving the lights on and focus on what makes you uncomfortable. You see… once we find that perfect person we’ll be rompin’ and rollin’ on the sink, the counter, in the car… you’re getting my point. Sex is healthy and it’s a part of life.

So what is my point? My point is this… if we don’t have a well-rounded relationship, be it money, sex, jealousy, family… whatever you can think of… then we aren’t abundant. Today is a day to look at your partner and really tell them that you love them. If you don’t have a partner, that’s ok… this applies to you as well. It doesn’t have to be a sexual relationship, it can just be a close relationship.

Today’s vibration of the 4 is telling us to release old thought patterns and allowing new and powerful forces into our lives.

The only reason I used sex in this morning’s blog is this…

If we can be comfortable talking about sex with our closest friends, partners and even family we can most likely talk about anything without that embarrassed look on our face.
